I am a drop of pesticide. Today is the day I will be used to keep bugs off of the farmer's cotton crops. All of the other drops of pesticide are saying that the journey should be fun. Minutes later we are out in the open then on the crops. When I land on a leaf, 3 bugs are already flying away from that plant.
After what seemed to be an hour and a half, I was about to the bottom of the plant when it began to sprinkle, then it all poured down. I thought I was just going to go down into the ground but turns out I am being washed away.
In the next few minutes, the water is heading down a hill and I see a pond up ahead with many plants and animals. When the rain water reaches the pond, a lady bug flies away and a rabbit hops towards the little stream. It takes one sip of the stream, stops, then hops away slowly. Now I think being a pesticide isn't so great. Most of the other pesticides are in the pond, a lot of the animals living in and drinking the water are leaving.
A day later we have been evaporated and are about to fall as precipitation. I see that we have moved from the pond to a big nearby city. As I fall I see a statue, then I land on it. While I am sliding down it, I see I have taken off some of the statue. Not only was I a pesticide, I am now acid rain, polluting fresh water supplies and destroying some statues and cars. Now I know its not good being a pesticide.
Using one bad chemical can cause a lot of damage.
